killed him 5 times when he was wielding the sword yesterday got 1 drop, is any1 certain that he only drops when he wields it?

After like 10 tryes i finally managed to kill him (ignore henchie-result of much rage, died before you could blink anyhow) anyhow, i killed him while he didnt have his sword up, but he hit seeking blade and riposite so we died at same time

i cant kill him propperly for my life

take out sprint and add heal sig. This makes life easier and distracting blow really speeds things up.

Hes outside Unwaking Waters mission on the forest side after the ritualist contruct mob.

Maybe this could be the second "Green Exploitation"??

If Sskai is weilding his sword but doesn't drop it, it means the anti farming code has kicked in or another monster killed him. I got 3 so far today so no problem for me.

hes practically the old boss griffon that was a tank outside augory. i think a griffon farming build would work here with an interupt for his heal sig. but my tank isnt so far yet cuz i havent bothered. Sum1 try with griffon farming build for me so i dont waste time getting here to find it dont work.

that r build if u didnt know it. though it is modified a bit since ur not takin on 15 things. Dolyak sig and bonettis defence dont work together. i tried it once and it wasnt a good outcome. only glads defence and dolyak work together.

Wont work he has the factions clone of pure strike so your defensive stances arent really going to work.

well when does the anti farming code set in and when does it reset? cause i only kill him when he has the sword and i still dont get it every time

To those who have trouble:
Are you making sure he is indeed wielding the green sword? You have to look for the sword graph, he always has a sword equipped, but not always the green item. It's easy to tell as the sword has a quite distinguished skin. Don't know if that's what you're describing, and i only did the run until i got my sword, but maybe it helps someone

Killed it once when it was black and got it on my rit with my 2 guildies, took about 7 trys for it to be black not silver, nice warrior build and thanks for sharing.

awesome build. works like a charm. killed him my first try. but no drops after 5 runs :P . maybe the number of players in a party might improve drops. we'll see tomorrow...

Well I can't get this build to work here any better than in SF. I am just not grasping the concept I guess. I also tried this several times and had him beaten each time right before another FING G'D D"MNED group patroled into me.

Ok I figured out the missing ingredient. It is all about the zealous sword. Too bad he hasn't had the sword in 10 straight runs.

Well this definitely works once you get the hang of it. I have gotten 4 of them tonight and sold them for a total of 120k. They all sold pretty quickly so Im sure I could have gotten a bit more.

I also tried this build on Strongroot Tanglebranch as suggested.

It does work, but I died twice before killing him. The spawn is so close I made it back to him before he healed up.

I was runnign without heal sig (because it is not needed for Sskai) but it would probably work better with it.

Also, the afflicted in the beginning make running to him very very tough. There are almost no rests once you get through them.
